Back From A Dream
Slowly his senses returned to him as he awoke more and more.
He could feel the warmth of the sun on his skin that greeted him on a new day.
A deep grumble left his throat as he tried to just open his eyes and failed.
He felt the tiredness in his bones and it was as if his body hadn’t realized that his mind was awake and refused to do his bidding.
Every fibre of his body felt numb, yet his mind was racing.
He tried to remember where he was and what had happened to him, yet, he had no memory of how he got where ever it was he was lying.
In the distance he could hear birds chirping and close beside him he heard the flow of water, underneath him he felt the softness of grass and this at least told him something about the surroundings he could not see, but not enough for his liking.
